Tyler, who has a learning disability, has benefited greatly from participating in the tractor tournaments. They have helped him focus on his skills and develop confidence, increasing public speaking skills and his project management. And annually his familiarity with tractor parts has grown.

'I like to take an old tractor and make it as effective as new, or even much better than the original,' said Tyler. 'This year was especially rewarding because I worked in the garage with my Grandpa and restored a thing that was particular to him.'
