Ive done some experiments over the past month or two about expiring domains with PR to see if it is worth your while to find these expired and deleted domains. Linklicious Plugin includes additional information concerning where to see about it.

My idea why I would prefer to use expired domains is the thought that old domains are chosen than new domains, and to have quick PR.

So I set out to find deleted domains with PR that I could enroll. One characteristic of areas I was searching for was that the domain still had a, and it was still shown in google.

I won't be mentioning the specific domains here as I want to handle the outcome and prevent people from making backlinks to these domains. Learn further on this affiliated encyclopedia by visiting small blue arrow.

I registered about 4 areas, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages listed, some have a few thousand. I also bought several new domains for my new projects.

I learned that google rarely trips these areas so I want to perfect it but with some fresh backlinks. After creating some backlinks to these domains, two domains ultimately lost their PR. To research more, please consider taking a glance at: linklicious vs nuclear link crawler. These two areas have only a few pages found in google. In a single site, used to do a 301 permanent redirect to the brand new index page. Its PR was retained by this domain. One important difference this domain has compared to the other two is that this domain has 1000s of pages indexed in google.

In still another domain, used to do a 301 and redirect it to a fresh new domain. The result is that the new domain got indexed faster and more pages were indexed compared to another new domain I listed at the same time. However, PR was down to 0.

There is also a case where I did so a 301 redirect from a vintage deleted area with PR and never got any benefit from it.

To conclude, there is still conflicting results on whether buying deleted/expired domains. Some works, some don't. But, what appear to work is that

a. Traffic does be contained by old delete domains from existing backlinks. If the old site has a great deal of backlinks, it still does generate some traffic.

W. Other search-engines such as for instance aol and msn don't appear to have an biases against expired/deleted areas..
