Its been an excellent, bad and ugly form of week for me.

https://tyler-collins.comI hit the trifecta at Pimlico--thats good.

My Little League kids went 0-3 with Coach Reavy in attendance--thats poor. Be taught new information on a related wiki by visiting

And Wednesday evening, upon hearing of the reality demise of my dawg, Elliot Yamin, I was both sad to listen to the news and disappointed in the conclusion that I'd just watched 12 straight periods of American Idol, spanning two months--thats...well, you will get the idea.

Luckily for me, however, the sports world is never without its good, bad and ugly occasions also. Clicking seemingly provides warnings you could tell your sister.

Listed here are the high (and low )lights of the week thats handed.

The Good:

Barry Bonds 714th homerun ball--for Tyler Snyder, the person who caught it. Certainly the eBay--er, Bay Area-- loyal are proud of their slugger, and may open up their checkbooks to produce a bid for your boost. But, to me, nothing tells the story more beautifully than these four words uttered by Tyler, the soon-to-be rich Athletics fan (thanks to Bonds), following the game: I hate that man.

The NBA playoffs. Whilst the highlight of my basketball season is undoubtedly the NBA draft, I cant help but marvel at the series which were performed up-to this point. It surely has made me forget that the NHL is on strike. Browse here at to read why to engage in this idea. (Editors note: Kevin doesnt receive the OLN channel.)

After losing five straight, the Phillies finally won.

The Bad:

After losing five directly, the Phillies finally won.

Cubs catcher, Michael Barrett, punched AJ Pierzynski after having a crash at home plate. It is a bad thing only because I believe when delivering the blow Barrett might have injured his hand.

NBC started broadcast episodes of the National Heads-Up Poker Championship. Had ESPN not chose to air around 300 episodes of World Series of Poker events on a consistent loop on ESPN programs 1thru 6 this might be considered a good thing. This might be cool if the World Poker Tour and Celebrity Poker Who Gives a Crap werent already force-feeding its addictive felt-and-clay-chip ample appeal down my throat.Instead, its overkill. Perhaps not because I hate seeing poker shows o-n TV, but because I watch these. And I would like my entire life back.

The Ugly:

Just one single thing...

Kobes attire on 'Inside the NBA' last Wednesday. Since nothing says road cred such as for instance a powder-blue sweater vest.

That will take action for this months version of The Sports Column. Ill try to keep an eye out for the very best stories for next time, this week easily could avoid the TiVo-limit hold em barrage.

Until then, take pleasure in the news as it occurs..
